Big Performances including 2 1,000 point scorers

Over the past week, several high school athletes have showcased exceptional talent and leadership, lifting their teams to victory and leaving an indelible mark on the local sports scene.

Leading the charge is Katelyn Wendling, a forward from New Lothrop High School, who has been a force to reckon with, averaging an impressive 21 points per game. Wendling's skill and determination have propelled her team forward, serving as a beacon of inspiration for her fellow teammates.

Not to be outdone, Reese Gohsman, a standout guard from Millington High School, has been a dynamic force on the court, averaging 20.6 points per game coupled with an outstanding 9.0 rebounds per game. Gohsman's all-around performance has been instrumental in Millington's recent successes, demonstrating unwavering tenacity and skill.

Molly Walker, a guard from Kingston, has also been making waves with her stellar performances, averaging 20.5 points per game. Walker's agility and precision have been crucial in driving her team towards victory, earning her recognition as one of the top talents in the region.

In addition to these outstanding performances, seniors Ava Mallar of Pittsford High School and Emily Zelinko of St. Charles High School have achieved significant milestones, reaching their 1,000 point marks. Mallar's and Zelinko's dedication and perseverance exemplify the true spirit of high school athletics, inspiring their teammates and the community alike.
