Michigan Mystics 2019 Commits

Chloe Idoni

Ferris State commit:

I couldn't thank you enough for everything you have done for me ever since I was a little kid. You're everything I wanted in a coach, this program & these girls are so lucky to have you & all the other amazing coaches. You genuinely care about your players, you give constructive criticism with intentions to get better not just mindlessly yelling at the players like I've seen other coaches do, you spend a ton of your time on the phone with colleges for all the girls helping them in ways they don't even realize. Lastly, you believe in us. I just wanted to let you know all your hard work does not go unnoticed. My family appreciates you and all you've done so much. Thank you for transforming the mystics into what it is now (family) & allowing me to be apart of it. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the mystics & all the girls I've met along the way. Love you Rob!

I choose to play with Mystics for many reasons. The Mystics have always been an excellent organization and I've always looked at it as a place I'd like to play. Now being able to be apart of the great environment, fun people, and exciting games it never fails to push you individually to be a better player but also to have fun and love what you're doing it. The mystics have greatly contributed to my life and future, and I am so glad to choose this program and to be a part of it.

I choose to play for the Mystics because I knew the Mystics were one of the top programs in the state and loaded with talent. I wanted to surround myself with others that were going to push me and make me a better player.

The reason I chose to play with the Mystics is because of the team aspect of the game. Having only one year left, I wanted to make the travel season a winning season and I believed in order that to happen, I would need to wearing a Mystic uniform.

I played with the Michigan Mystics my last year of travel ball. I had a great experience and loved playing with Michigan's top players. The coaches were supportive and just let us play which really helped our chemistry since we had never played together before. Overall, I'm glad I chose to end my Travel career with the Mystics!!!

I chose the mystics because of the atmosphere they provided. Everyone in the gym gives there 110% effort and I knew that there would be no easy days of practices or trainings. I knew that The Mystics program could transform my game on all levels. I would play to the best of my abilities because my teammates were so awesome. The coaching staff cares about you, the girls care about you, and the parents care about you. The Mystics gives aspiring college athletes the opportunities needed. I'm so thankful I got to join the program.

Concordia University Ann Arbor commit:

I joined the Mystics because of the coaching staffs abilities to make all players college athletes. The opportunists are endless when a gym is full of players that push each other every single practice to get better. The Mystics to me felt like "community." All teams of all age groups supported one another, sitting the bench and high fiving the girls when they got off the court, cheering from the sidelines, just some examples of the family atmosphere that the Mystics has. Michigan Mystics is a program that you'll never forget.

I joined the Mystics because of their amazing reputation and outstanding coaches. Joining the Mystics was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only did it feel like a family, but I was able to play for some of the best coaches I have ever had. Mystics will forever be with me throughout my basketball career, and I loved every second of it.

I play for the Michigan Mystics because the players are given great opportunities. We have a good coaching staff that really cares about their players and understands the game. Within the program there are many skilled players from all over the state so every practice is competitive. We go to many exposure events where we get the chance to play in front of college coaches. Being a part of the Mystics program has been a good choice for me, it has allowed me to improve and display my skills at exposure tournaments which is what is needed to play at the next level.

I play for the mystics because we win and we get it done, but we have fun too. I will never have anything bad to say about anything to do with the mystics. Coach Rob does everything in his power to help the young ladies that he coaches. He is a great guy. All the coaches are amazing and personable. Coach Jermaine really knows the game and Coach Cory played pro so he definitely knows to, we also have a handshake. We work hard and play with the best players possible so that ensures that you are making progress on your game every practice. There's a lot you can learn from the mystics that I definitely have. I would'nt have wanted to do my travel season with any other teammates or coaches or club.
